Meet the Dental Specialists

Dr. Dahlman was raised in Coquitlam, BC where he attended elementary, junior, and senior high school. He attended the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacology and Therapeutics (Honors) in 1986, followed by Masters work in Pharmacology. He obtained his dental degree (DMD) at UBC in 1992 and completed a hospital residency at UCLA Medical Centre in 1993. Dr. Dahlman also completed his 4 year Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency training at Highland Hospital (now University of the Pacific) in Oakland California in 1997.  He moved back to BC and opened his private practice in July of 1997 in Abbotsford.

Dr. Dahlman is a board-certified specialist in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with a Fellowship from the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Dr. Dahlman has practiced in the Fraser Valley since 1997, with a satellite office in Williams Lake BC (until 2015).  He continues to practice in Abbotsford and West Kelowna, BC.

Dr. Dahlman has been on staff at several hospitals including Abbotsford Regional, Chilliwack General, Mission Memorial, and Caribou Memorial hospitals. He performed major facial reconstructive surgery at these hospitals as well as elective orthognathic, cosmetic and dentoalveolar surgery.  He continues to provide hospital services at select sites. Dr. Dahlman is fully certified in BLS/CPR, advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), and pediatric advanced life support (PALS).

Dr. Dahlman is a faculty member at UBC’s dental program, teaching surgery to undergraduate students, and intravenous sedation and surgery to the graduate-level periodontic residents.  He has been teaching part-time at UBC since 1998.

Dr. Dahlman provides full scope oral & maxillofacial surgery services including dental implants, dentoalveolar surgery (including wisdom teeth removal), hard (bone) and soft tissue grafting, orthognathic surgery, orthodontic surgery, pathology/cancer surgery, and management of TMJ disorders. He continues to provide mild, moderate, and deep sedation services. Surgery requiring general anesthesia are accommodated at a private facility or in hospital.

Dr. Dahlman currently resides in the Fraser Valley.

Dr. Eman Moradi received his DDS degree in 1996 and Master of Science degree in Endodontics in 2002. He became a Clinical and Didactic Assistant Professor at Melli Dental School in Iran. After immigrating to Canada, he earned his designation again as an endodontist in July 2017.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of the Dentists of Canada (FRCDC), a member of the College of the Dental Surgeons of British Columbia (CDSBC), a member of the British Columbia Dental Association (BCDA), a member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), and the Canadian Academy of Endodontics (CAE). Currently he teaches at the University of British Columbia Faculty of Dentistry as a Clinical Assistant Professor.

Dr. Moradi is empathetic to everyone who enters his office. He continuously strives for the best and brings everyone with him. His passion for the field is contagious, as his work atmosphere reflects.

Dr. Ron Wolk is originally from Winnipeg, Man where he attended the University of Manitoba receiving a degree in dentistry (DMD). After practicing family dentistry, he returned for post graduate studies in the specialty of Orthodontics to the University of Minnesota. In 1977 Dr. Wolk received his Diploma in Orthodontics in 1977 and then went on to obtain a Masters of Science in Anatomy (MS) in 1978 both from the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Wolk is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He has been in private practice specializing in Orthodontics for over 40 years. During his career Dr. Wolk has served in many leadership positions including President of the Alberta Society of Orthodontists (1985), President of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists (2000), President of the Canadian Foundation for the Advancement of Orthodontics (2001- 2004), President of the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists (2008). He continues to serve as Delegate to the American Association of Orthodontists since 2005 to the present. He has been a visiting clinical instructor at the University of Manitoba’s graduate orthodontic program since 2014.

Dr Wolk provides a wide range of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedic treatment options using fixed and removable braces, clear braces, and clear aligners.

Dr. Wolk believes the shortest distance between two people is “a smile".

Dr. Reza Ahmadi is a board-certified periodontal specialist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentist of Canada (FRCDC). He is a graduate of University of British Columbia’s Periodontal and Implant residency program and is a recipient of multiple academic and teaching awards at UBC . Dr. Ahmadi is also an active staff member of the dental department at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH). In addition, He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at UBC’s faculty of dentistry and teaches undergraduate dental students as well as dental residents at VGH.

Given his extensive education and training, his friendly demeanor and reassuring personality, Dr. Ahmadi has a gift for treating our patients with utmost expertise and dedication. He is B.C. educated, and delighted to be practicing with Fraser Valley Dental Specialists.
